This recurring meet-up is for any member who would like to discuss more deeply about their disability/ies, their perspectives on Disability in our society, joke, laugh, critique, or just silently be in a shared space with members of your community. The purpose of these meet-ups is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that affirms the strengths, experiences and identities of people with disabilities.
This meet-up is intended to provide a unique, free, and empowering experience that is often not fully felt in other areas of daily life. For this reason, every member who attends is asked to make a commitment to show acceptance, respect and empathy for each other.
