Meet-up for those who want to connect with others in a Disability-positive space. Show up as yourself, among others with both shared experiences, and diverse experiences.
In-person and virtual attendance will always be offered. Our first group meet-up will be a combined Zoom and in-person gathering at Colectivo on Monroe.

This recurring meet-up is for any member who would like to discuss more deeply about their disability/ies, their perspectives on Disability in our society, joke, laugh, critique, or just silently be in a shared space with members of your community. The purpose of these meet-ups is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that affirms the strengths, experiences and identities of people with disabilities.
This meet-up is intended to provide a unique, free, and empowering experience that is often not fully felt in other areas of daily life. For this reason, every member who attends is asked to make a commitment to show acceptance, respect and a willingness to embrace the differences, disabilities and diversity in each other member.
